New APIs: Component, Variables and Localization
Three new APIs to help developers build powerful Webflow Apps for our latest features.

<figure id="" class="w-richtext-figure-type-image w-richtext-align-fullwidth" style="max-width:2400px" data-rt-type="image" data-rt-align="fullwidth" data-rt-max-width="2400px"><div id=""><img src="<https://cdn.prod.website-files.com/64f9399ca7d13575ff21a675/651df8d513b882d4e3adffea_APIs.jpg>" loading="lazy" id="" width="auto" height="auto" alt=""></div></figure><p id="">To support our recent product launches across <a href="<https://webflow.com/feature/component-ux>">Components</a>, <a href="<https://webflow.com/feature/variables>" id="">Variables</a>, and <a href="<https://webflow.com/feature/localization-enterprise-availability>" id="">Localization</a>, we are releasing three new APIs that give developers flexible ways to deliver scalable, reusable components and styling through Apps, as well as fresh integration opportunities with our new localization product. <br><br><strong id="">Here’s what’s new:</strong></p><ul id=""><li id="">First, we are releasing a new suite of <a href="<https://docs.developers.webflow.com/reference/components>" id="">Components Designer API</a>s that will allow Developers add, bind, and manage components on a Webflow site – unlocking new ways for Apps to add to, and engage with, a site’s design system. </li><li id="">Next, we are adding<strong id=""> </strong>a new <a href="<https://docs.developers.webflow.com/reference/variables-collections>" id="">Variables Designer API</a> that will allow Developers to define and manage variables, like color, font and size for streamlined design system management via Webflow Apps.</li><li id="">Finally, in the next month, we will be releasing a new Localization APIs that will allow developers to seamlessly integrate third-party translation management systems with Webflow’s new Localization product. <a href="<https://developers.webflow.com/beta-signup>" id="">You can sign up for early access to this API here</a>. </li></ul><p id="">Visit our <a href="<https://developers.webflow.com/>" id="">developer documentation</a> to learn more about our new APIs and to start building an App for the <a href="<https://webflow.com/apps>" id="">Webflow Marketplace</a>.</p>
