Depending on the feature and product, some capabilities are subject to limits on usage.

Customer data is not used to train any generative AI models. For any third-party models, Webflow ensures an agreement is in place with the third-party vendor that prohibits them from training their models on any customer data. Webflow processes customer data to provide responses to request prompts and does not use the input/outputs to create new LLMs. Queries and responses are not shared across customers. Webflow partners with best-in-class models and trusted vendors to power its AI offerings. Third-party AI vendors undergo the same security & compliance vendor due diligence review process similar to any other vendors that are onboarded. Webflow conducts a due diligence assessment process for any vendors with which they may conduct business with and may have access to its data systems and/or confidential information.

Webflow takes a privacy-conscious approach to AI. Webflow maintains active SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, and ISO 27018 certifications — each affirming our commitment to safeguarding data and upholding rigorous security controls. As the landscape of AI regulation continues to evolve, we’re actively evaluating and aligning our internal controls with emerging frameworks such as ISO 42001 and the EU AI Act. This forward-looking approach helps ensure our use of AI remains responsible, compliant, and in service of our community’s trust.

Access to Webflow’s AI features varies by workspace and site plan type and based on the purchase of the Webflow Optimize and Webflow Localization add-ons. Webflow’s generative AI features require opt-in for Enterprise customers and non-Enterprise customers may opt-out of leveraging this functionality. All customers can control access to generative AI features at the workspace level, with additional control available to Enterprise customers. When available, getting started with Webflow’s AI features is as simple as clicking an AI icon that appears in navigational elements and menus throughout the platform.
