Use component props in custom code
Reference props and dynamic data directly in Code Embed elements.
Code Embeds give you the power to add custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript anywhere on your site. Now, you can also use component props, locale settings, and page settings directly in custom code, just like CMS fields.
Add references from the connect button in the code editor, with support for almost any prop type — Text, Number, Image, Link, Switch, and more. For example, reference a Text prop in custom CSS to allow individual styles to be set per instance, or build a JSON-LD block that pulls from props to generate structured data for AEO.
We're also introducing a new Code prop, allowing you to connect an entire Code Embed element. It's now easy to swap SVG markup, third-party embeds, and other custom code on each instance.
