<p id=""><strong id="">Managing client billing just got easier.&nbsp;</strong></p><p id="">Say goodbye to pinging your clients about monthly subscription payments. Today, we’re proud to announce the arrival of client payments for everyone on Freelancer and Agency Workspace plans. Now, you can invite your client to securely add their credit card to cover costs for their site, including new site plans, bandwidth overages, and other site add-ons.&nbsp;</p><p id="">As part of this launch, we’re also introducing seamless transfers. Sites built and hosted in your Freelancer or Agency Workspace and paid for using client payments, can now be transferred to your client’s Workspace without affecting key site settings.</p><p id="">Client payments is especially valuable if your client prefers giving you full control to manage and maintain their site in your own Workspace. This means you can spend more time building while Webflow handles the billing. If your client eventually wants full ownership of their site in their own Workspace, you can use seamless transfers to move it over without affecting the site plan.</p><p id="">‍<strong id="">Here’s a summary of what you can expect:</strong></p><p id="">Key Benefits</p><ul id=""><li id=""><strong id="">Delegate billing to clients: </strong>Your clients can securely add their credit card on file to pay for new site subscriptions, additional bandwidth, and other site add-ons like Webflow Analyze, Optimize, Localization, etc.&nbsp;</li><li id=""><strong id="">Maintain control: </strong>Once your client adds their card on file, you can keep managing the site’s design and hosting while delegating billing to your client. You can control their access level, but only they can cancel or upgrade their site plan.</li><li id=""><strong id="">Benefits for Certified Partners: </strong>If you’re part of the <a href="<https://webflow.com/certified-partners/apply>" id="">Certified Partner Program</a>, your partner code will be automatically applied to any new site plan in your Freelancer or Agency Workspace using client payments, allowing you to earn rewards for any of those sites.&nbsp;</li><li id=""><strong id="">Simplify site transfers: </strong>With seamless transfers, sites can move from your Workspace to your clients’ Workspace without affecting site settings or pricing plans.</li></ul><p id="">Enabling client payments:&nbsp;</p><ul id=""><li id=""><strong id="">For new sites: </strong>When creating a new site, simply invite your client to set up client payments. Once they accept, their credit card will be securely added to cover site costs.</li><li id=""><strong id="">For existing paid plans: </strong>Downgrade the site to the Starter plan temporarily. Be sure to coordinate a time to do this with your client to minimize downtime. They’ll receive an invitation in Webflow and via email to accept the transfer request.&nbsp;</li><li id="">Once the client accepts, they’ll be prompted to reauthorize Webflow apps to maintain integrations.
