Example use cases
Stay on-brand across the entire web experience
We know it’s critical for you to stay consistent across every touchpoint. All Webflow Cloud users will also get access to the DevLink beta – so you can use existing components from your Webflow site in your Webflow Cloud apps.

Get started with Webflow Cloud
Bring your Next.js or Astro project right into Webflow or using the Webflow CLI in your IDE. Ultimately, we plan for Webflow Cloud to be agnostic across JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
1
Create your new app
Scaffold your app with the Webflow CLI – just run:
npm install -g webflow-cli && webflow cloud init
2
Kickstart your UI with a template
Use our cloneable that is already optimized for Webflow Cloud and DevLink.
3
Create a new project in Webflow Cloud
Create a new project based on your git branch.
4
Deploy your app to Webflow Cloud
Connect GitHub to Webflow Cloud to set up automated deployments.
5
Add your Webflow design system
Bring components you've already built in your Webflow site over to your app with DevLink.

“Webflow Cloud enables us to deliver a truly personalized home-buying experience by integrating over 200,000 MLS listings through our Next.js app, hosted seamlessly with our Webflow site. It’s also been a game-changer for our internal teams. Our engineering team can now build with the same design system and infrastructure our marketing team already uses, eliminating the tedious work of keeping components up-to-date, and ensuring our brand is always consistent.”

Webflow Cloud is powered by Cloudflare Workers on Cloudflare CDN + infrastructure.
During beta, Webflow Cloud supports the JavaScript + React ecosystem — specifically Next.js and Astro frameworks. Over time, our vision is for Webflow Cloud to be agnostic across JavaScript frameworks and libraries to ensure developers can work in the tools that best support their use cases.
Alongside the general release of Webflow Cloud, we’re launching a new beta for three storage options to provide developers with integrated data storage solutions and leverage our robust, native hosting infrastructure, provided in partnership with Cloudflare.
This beta will become available to any users in the existing Webflow Cloud beta and will roll out to additional Webflow Cloud users in the coming weeks. In the meantime, you can review documentation for these features here.
Webflow Cloud pricing is a transparent, usage-based model billed based on the amount of data transferred, the number of requests made, and the duration of compute resources used. All paid site plans include complimentary Surge Protection and automatic upgrades if you exceed your limits. This model ensures you only pay for what you use, scaling efficiently with your application’s needs.
There are three key factors that will determine the cost of using Webflow Cloud
- Bandwidth. The amount of data transferred by your web app(s) in a given month. These limits for hosted Webflow Cloud apps are pooled with your site bandwidth limits.
- Requests. The number of requests your application(s) handles in a given month.
- CPU usage. The time your Webflow Cloud app(s) code is actively executing in a given month.
All customers who configure a Webflow Cloud app will automatically get DevLink beta access enabled on their site. We anticipate that you may want to use your existing Webflow components to help build out the project you host with Webflow Cloud.
If you’re new to DevLink, you can review the docs here.
