Change CMS Collection page URL slugs

Now you can change the URL path for your CMS Collection template pages after you create them. And as always, you can set up 301 redirects.

Change CMS Collection page URL slugs

Before today, you weren’t able to <a href="<https://wishlist.webflow.com/ideas/CMS-I-11>" data-rt-link-type="external">edit the URL structure of your CMS Collection pages after you first create them — which was a pain. So we fixed that. Now you can change the URL slug of the folders that your CMS Collection pages live under as much as you’d like.

<img src="<https://cdn.prod.website-files.com/64f9399ca7d13575ff21a675/64f9399ca7d13575ff21c3fc_change-collection-page-url-slugs.gif>">

‍Be sure to set 301 redirects for changes to live sites.

But URL editors beware: be sure to <a href="<https://university.webflow.com/article/setting-up-301-redirects>">set 301 redirects if you’re changing URLs for a site that’s already live — that way you’ll make sure visitors with old links don’t hit a 404, and Google will know where to look for your new pages.
