We’re rolling out major updates to Webflow AI that make it easier to move quickly, stay on brand, and focus on the creative work that matters most. With a broader toolset for our MCP server, a reimagined AI Assistant with new code generation capabilities, AI-powered suggestions in Optimize, and smarter SEO tools, Webflow AI is designed to handle the repetitive tasks so your team has more time to explore, experiment, and play. 

Webflow MCP server

Webflow was one of the first in our industry to launch an MCP server, giving tools like Cursor and Claude real-time access to your Webflow site structure and CMS. That opened the door to new ways of creating and managing content with AI. Recently, we’ve taken a giant leap forward by enabling the Webflow MCP server to interact with both our Data APIs and Designer APIs, unlocking new ways to design, manage content, and bring AI-powered creativity directly into the Webflow canvas.

Webflow AI Assistant

Building on the success of our MCP server, we have reimagined the AI Assistant as an intelligent, conversational partner that can help your team orchestrate complex tasks. More than a chatbot, it unlocks agentic workflows and works like a teammate: understanding your site, aligning with your design system, and helping you plan, preview, and apply changes directly in Webflow — so you can move faster without losing control or compromising quality.

The updated Webflow AI Assistant will be available to all customers later this year. 

AI-powered code gen

We’ve also added code generation to the Webflow AI Assistant, giving teams a new way to extend what’s possible in Webflow. You can create production-grade web apps like dashboards or booking tools, and reusable code components that align to your brand, content, and creative vision.

AI-powered optimization suggestions

We’ve added AI-powered suggestions to Webflow Optimize to help you generate optimization variants like new headlines, refined CTAs, or adjusted copy based on CRO best practices. These suggestions give your team a starting point for experimentation, making it easier to run tests that boost engagement and drive conversions.

AI-powered suggestions are available today as part of the Webflow Optimize.

AI-powered SEO

AI-powered SEO in Webflow helps improve discoverability, accessibility, and performance across search engines and AI-driven platforms. The Audit panel now uses AI to flag gaps in alt text, meta titles, meta descriptions, and schema markup site-wide, and guides you with recommendations based on best practices.

AI-powered SEO will be available to all customers next month.
