Apex
Connect Apex with Webflow to automate email marketing journeys triggered by form submissions and ecommerce orders.
How to integrate Apex with Webflow
Apex serves marketers, boutique owners, and ecommerce directors who need email automation without custom code.
The tool connects directly to your Webflow site to trigger automated emails when visitors submit forms or complete purchases. This integration supports email automation only through the native marketplace app; Apex does not provide API access, webhooks, or third-party platform integrations.
Install the Apex marketplace app to get started. No code or external middleware is required.
Use the Apex app
The Apex marketplace app is a free, Early Access integration that installs directly through the Webflow Apps Marketplace. Once installed, you can access the visual journey builder, email design tools, and campaign analytics without writing code.
To install, navigate to your Webflow Workspace and open the Apps section. Search for "Apex: Email Marketing Automation" and click Install. Authorize the app to access your site's forms, form submissions, ecommerce data, and publishing capabilities. Once installed, Apex can trigger automations based on form submissions and completed orders.
The Apex app includes the following features:
- Real-time event triggers that respond to form submissions and completed orders, with more triggers planned
- Visual journey builder for creating multi-step email sequences with drag-and-drop workflow design
- Pre-built journey templates with ready-made blueprints for welcome series and post-purchase campaigns
- Campaign analytics dashboard with performance metrics for tracking campaign results
The app requires permissions to read your ecommerce store data, site forms, and form submissions. These permissions let Apex monitor site activity and trigger automations when those events occur.
What you can build
Apex lets you create automated marketing experiences triggered by visitor actions on your site, such as form submissions and completed orders.

- Post-purchase engagement flows: Send personalized thank-you messages and exclusive offers automatically when customers complete orders in Webflow Ecommerce
- Lead nurturing campaigns: Trigger follow-up email sequences from form submissions that educate prospects and guide them toward a purchase
- Customer retention sequences: Automate re-engagement emails based on order history, including loyalty rewards and repeat purchase incentives
