A shared home for marketing teams and their agents

Launch, optimize, and scale digital experiences together, with every marketer, designer, and developer getting a workspace tailored to the jobs and outcomes they own.

Get a workspace tailored to you

Work from an interface shaped around the job you own, with the access and tools you need already in place.

Agents that drive impact alongside you

Your agents run in the background, proactively flagging opportunities in your Inbox, from an AEO fix to a new CRO test worth running, with the work already drafted and ready for your review.

Empower more of the team to drive impact on the web

Customizable workspaces and agents allow more of your team to contribute, safely: a CMO reviews and approves a new blog, while a product marketer ships an agent-drafted update based on competitive intel.

Take on work you used to turn away

Source works directly on real code and any stack, so the ceiling on technical builds, and which clients you can serve, lifts.

Turn your playbook into a product

Build custom interfaces around how your clients' team operates, then turn them into a product you resell across every project that needs it.

Be the AI consultant your client are asking for

Source gives you the platform to bring scalable agentic workflows to your clients’ teams, turning AI consulting into a real, sellable service.

Encode the brand system

Bring in components, styles, voice, and tone, so everything a marketer or agent ships stays on brand and meets the quality bar.

Build agentically or visually, on the same surface

Ask an agent to explore a new hero concept, then take visual control yourself for the finishing touches, or when craft calls for it.

Turn on canvas comments into tasks

Leave a comment in visual context and an agent turns it into a task, works it, and brings it back for your review.

Connect your codebase and stack

Connect your codebase, CMS, and martech stack (including sites built on Webflow), and Source orchestrates across it.

Configure a workspace for every teammate

Set up a workspace for each team member, then define guardrails, like permissions and review paths, that govern what marketers and agents can touch.

Leverage agents or drop into code

Build with agents or when code is the fastest way to get something done, you can work there directly.

Work directly on the code that ships

Source’s agents have direct access to the code that ships, letting them take on larger, more complex changes without the constraints of an abstraction layer.

Always on, and ahead of the ask

Agents don't wait to be asked. They monitor performance, surface opportunities, and act on your behalf once you approve, getting sharper with every launch.

Scoped to the job you need done

Create and customize agents to specific jobs you need done, like one that flags pages slipping on conversion or another that checks every new page for brand voice before it ships.

Build agentically and visually

Let agents handle the heavy lifting, then apply finishing touches with direct visual edits, or switch between both. In Source, you're never trading off speed, control, or craft.

Let agents do the heavy lifting

Leverage an agent for time-intensive or multi-step work: scaffolding a new build, switching from light to dark mode, or generating on-brand variants for a new campaign.

Make direct on canvas edits

Build directly on the visual canvas when craft and precision call for a human touch, or when it's simply faster than prompting, like changing a headline’s font size.

Turn comments into agent tasks

Drop a note on the canvas, like “update this CTA button to match the new brand colors,” and an agent picks it up, drafts the change, and flags it for review.

Orchestrate a team of top-tier agents

The Source user interface showing custom agents a user has created.

Customizable agents continuously measure, recommend, and act on your behalf, ensuring your site is always improving and everything you ship moves the business forward.

Always on, and ahead of the ask

Agents don't wait to be asked. When there's an opportunity to improve a metric, they flag it in your Source inbox with a recommendation already drafted, ready for your approval.

Create the agents your team needs

Build agents scoped to exactly the job you need done, like one that recommends tests to run on underperforming pages, or another that checks for brand voice.

A workspace for every team member

Every marketer, designer, and developer gets a workspace tailored to their role and outcomes they own through Views: dedicated surfaces for every web marketing job your team needs to do.

Leverage default Webflow Views

Start with out-of-the-box Views for visual site building, content management, assets, optimization, and more.

Create custom Views around your team’s workflows

Like a dashboard tracking the the metrics you care most about, or a View built around your org’s unique content approval process.

Built-in governance

Brand systems, approval paths, and audit trails are built in from day one, so teams and agents can move fast and collaborate safely at scale.

Connect any stack

Source connects to the stack you already use — including sites built in Webflow.

Bring your codebase, CMS, martech tools, and hosting, or use Webflow’s own stack. Either way, Source provides the agents, flexible workspaces, and governance your team needs to launch, optimize, and scale the web.

"Clients used to ask us about AI for one reason: speed. Now they expect it to scale across the website lifecycle and make them better marketers, not just faster ones. That's where Source comes in: build a page from a prompt, run agents with real guardrails so work gets done while you sleep, and give everyone on the team a view of only what they need to touch.”

“Even the most advanced teams are struggling to make AI work in multiplayer workflows. Source brings what Webflow has always been good at — visual control, native marketing tools, collaboration, and governance — into one agent-native platform that works directly on code. For our clients building on Next.js and Astro who need AI to scale beyond individual developers and across the marketing team, Source will be our new default.”

FAQs

Source by Webflow is a new platform for marketing teams and their agents to launch, optimize, and scale digital experiences, together.

Source connects with your codebase and martech stack, bringing agentic and visual development into a shared operating environment, with every marketer, designer, and developer getting a workspace tailored to their job and the outcomes they own.

Webflow powers digital experiences for hundreds of thousands of organizations around the world, and the platform you know and love isn’t going anywhere. As we build Source, we will continue to invest in our existing platform that teams use every day, including expanding its agentic capabilities. You've seen this in our recent launches, from MCP 2.0 and 2.1 to native AEO agents to AI Code Components, with much more on the roadmap that we shared in our Webflow Conference keynote.

When Source is ready for you, and if you choose to migrate to our new platform, we will provide a supported path.

Code is the native language of AI. When agents can work directly with the code that actually ships (instead of an abstraction layer)  they can understand your whole system directly, make changes to it, and evaluate their own work without limitations (unless you set them).

That’s a fundamental shift from how Webflow has worked historically, and what lets Source unlock agents as top-tier teammates, not just tools you prompt. For more context behind our decision to make code the foundation of Source, check out this blog post.

Yes. Composability is a core tenet of how we built Source: you can connect your existing codebase, martech stack, and hosting, or use more of Webflow’s own stack. Either way, Source provides the flexible workspaces, governance, and agentic layer your team needs to launch, optimize, and scale the web.

Source by Webflow will empower you to decide how much autonomy agents have. Teams can require human approval before changes ship or give agents more freedom for lower-risk work. Either way, agent actions are governed by the same roles, permissions, and review systems as human work, with a record of what changed and who (or which agent) made the change.

Source is currently in a limited research preview, and we’ll be enrolling select agency partners and customers in a phased approach over the coming months.
